“Jennifer Potter was one of our favorite wedding vendors. My husband and I agree that hiring her was the best money we spent on our wedding. We found her about 6 weeks before the big day, so all the major decisions had already been made, but she was priceless in helping it all come together seamlessly. Jenn is friendly, energetic, professional, and reasonably priced. Having her around on our wedding weekend was like having a good friend who just happened to be organized and in charge of the details. She coordinated our rehearsal and made sure on our wedding day that everything ran on schedule and as we had envisioned. Several unexpected things came up and Jenn problem-solved and handled them gracefully. The main reason I wanted to hire a Day of Coordinator was so that people would not come to me to with a million questions on my wedding day. “I am very pleased to recommend Jennifer Potter as a day-of wedding coordinator. I know Jenn through my maid-of-honor who suggested that I have Jenn help out the day of my wedding. Jenn graciously agreed to help us and met with me a few times before the actual event. She took care of all of the details that day – from handing out corsages to making sure that the cake looked perfect at the reception. Everything ran very smoothly and I barely even noticed that Jenn was there, she was always just behind the scenes making sure that she was one step ahead of whatever was happening during the day.

I can give a couple of examples of how Jenn stepped in to avoid a mishap during my wedding day. One major one happened when some of the seating cards were out of place at the reception, which would have left family members seated far away from us and college friends seated where the family members should have been. Jenn had my table seating chart and checked every table for me and noticed this mistake before the guests were seated and moved the place cards herself, ensuring that everyone was seated correctly when the time came for the guests to sit down to dinner. She also noticed a problem with our wedding cake and worked with the florist to cover up the imperfections,and I never even noticed! 

Jenn is extremely professional in her handling of all situations and she is also very personable and able to juggle many tasks at once. Because of her help, my only memories of my wedding day are that it went smoothly from start to finish. I had a fabulous wedding and my family and friends all remarked at how much fun they had, and Jenn helped to make sure that this was possible for us.” ~ Lauren R.

“Jennifer was great and I could have not have got through the day without her. I was debating back and forth about hiring a DOC for many months. About 4-5 months before the wedding I found one of her friends write a post on the knot recommending her. I looked at her website and usually I don’t contact people that don’t list a price on their site, but I made this one exception, and I’m glad I did. Since she was just starting out her price was 1/3 of other DOC’s in this area and let me tell you see earned that price plus 300% more. My wedding was almost 2 hours away from where she lives, she had no problems traveling that distance twice even with the price of gas being high at that time.
If it wasn’t for Jennifer I would have no pictures taken with the disposable camera on the tables or no signatures on our signature frame and scrapbook. Jennifer made sure all the guests got an opportunity to fill those things out. She is the only vendor I had that I would give 5 stars across the board and that means a lot.”

Thank you so much for everything you did for us leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding itself.  Being able to count on you to plan many of the wedding day details, some of which we had never even considered, allowed us to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest extent possible!  Your calm and organized presence, even when things were not going 100% according to plan, was exactly what we needed.  We knew during our first meeting with you that we had made the right choice by hiring you, and you proved that to us dozens of times in the weeks to follow.  From helping us make the schedule for the day, to making the rehearsal run smoothly, to all of the tireless work you put in on the day of the wedding itself, we were so thrilled and relieved to have you around.  We went through the wedding day never worrying about a single detail and instead focusing on our love for each other, our family, and our friends, and that was in large part due to your help.  We wish you all the best and we look forward to recommending your services to engaged couples in the future!

I was lucky enough to receive a referral through The Knot to contact Jenn at Dot Your I’s Events to be our possible day of wedding coordinator.  I can’t tell you how much a relief it was for my husband and I to have her there to help us on our day.  From our very first phone call she was energetic, helpful, knowledgeable and had a lot of ideas and suggestions that some brides might forget along the way or just don’t think of doing.
She made my wedding day for me, flawless.  My husband and I still talk and will probably continue to talk about how lucky we were to have her there and how it was the best money we had ever spent.  She helped us through the rehearsal and stayed until the very ending of the wedding reception.  She never shot down any ideas I had, including asking her to man our popcorn machine we rented for a late night snack!  Even with her busy life at home with two young children she knew exactly how to handle my stress of wedding day details and being a full time mom all at the same time.
The best part about hiring Jenn was she was down to earth and it was like being around a friend, a friend who has the largest wedding emergency kit I have ever seen in my life and it came in handy when my Mother-In-Law’s dress was busting at the seam.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day of planner.  And we would refer her a 100 times over just to make every brides day a little easier on one of the most important days of her life.
